Default Tampa Trans Help?

Hello All

I have been a victim of the TR3650 in my '02 4.6L for years now. I have always had problems 2-3 and 3-4 since the day I purchased the car(used.) Several years ago I had a Ford dealership in Jersey give me an estimate and I don't know if they were off their rocker or just shady as heck because they quoted me + $3k. I wish in my younger years someone would have turned me to these forums sooner (IE while still under warranty) because I would have come across the below TSB.

Anyhow whats done is done. Just had general service done @ Bill Currie Ford in Tampa (So far I'm a huge fan) and the service manager was saying I should be able to get the Trans replaced for around $1200-$1500. (without clutch)

So now my question becomes can this be true??!?!?! If so anyone around here have a shop they can point in the direction of?

When he told me that I burst out laughing because I was trying to remember what it would be like to have a smooth shifting experience from 2-3 and then I remembered...OH YEA I'VE NEVER HAD ONE.
