View Full Version : FRPP M-5230 GTA exhaust @ ninosport.com...
project85 07-09-2008, 02:54 AM I heard a V6 Mustang with the FRPP GTA's in person and well... I'm sold :D
they sounded really good... I was hesitate to get them because I thought they were going to be too quiet.
YouTube clips do not do these things justice...
I was wondering if ninosport.com is the cheapest place to buy them?

I called around and got them for $575. plus tax. Got them installed
for $100. at a muffler shop. Might not be the cheapest but I'm happy. :)

haha me too about the money throwing.
if i find a dealership around me that'll sell me the kit for that much, i'm going down there with cash. i have that much money sitting in my room waiting to be used!

5GT are Borla Stingers... Louder set of mufflers

The real GTA's are 4" tip ... those are the ones that sound nice on the 4.0 ...
The GTA's that are sitting in my garage came in the FRPP dual kit and are 3.5 inches in diameter.
dmhines 07-09-2008, 01:05 PM I know on Ford Racing Website they advertised the GTA as having 4" tips .... I see they also now have the GTB available ... which are the Bullitt mufflers. Wonder how they sound ...

The Ford Racing M-5230-gta is like Borla's 11752 kitand has a 4" tip and has a nice mello tone.
The Ford RacingM-5230-5gt is like the Borla Stingers 11750 and ismuch more aggressive exhaust kit with 3.5" tips.
The mufflers made by Borla for Ford Racing have the stamped logos. The M-5230-GTA is manufactured by Supreme Performance for Ford Racing and has no stamped logo.

Try checking Youtube.com there are a lot of vids on there of the GTAs and some good ones of the Borla Stingers.
