Thumbs up New Feature: Ford Mustang Knowledgebase

Hey all & Happy New Year!

We've just recently added a new feature to the site, it's called "Ford Mustang Knowledgebase", it is a directory of most common topics that most new members are looking for. For example "air intakes", "headers" and etc.

I've added a couple of really common topics, but would like your suggestions on what to cover next. For example - "camshafts", specific tire sizing, and etc. Completely open to your suggestions and need your help here.

You can just post in this thread.

Mustang K-Base is located at https://mustangforums.com/kbase

Thanks,
Mike

a known topic on the IRS in cobras is the "will i be able to fit 315's on the rear"

You can, but only nittos since they tend to run small. Other than the nittos, you'll need at least 10.5" wide rims to be able to fit other tire brands, i.e. goodyear, bfgoodrich. You'll either need to replace the IRS subframe bolts with low profile ones or grind it. I'm against grinding it.

meh

It would be nice to have a guide on swapping a 4cyl or V6 mustang to a V8 and a automatic to a 5 speed.

I just saw that this morning...looks pretty nice.

4.10s vs. 3.73 threads are common.

Also, the 2V to 4V swap question threads happen here and there in the 4.6 Tech/general sections.

Maybe instead of adding all these new features you guys can work on making the site work a little faster like the other forums. maybe take out some features. Just something to think about. Couple of my friends use other forums cause they work much faster and smoother. thanks
