Default Anyone else have problems with RPM Outlet?

Hi all. I just joined today and was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with RPM Outlet? To me their customer service is simply awful and I highly advise people to not use them for parts. Anyone else had an issue with them?

Yea - they don't seem to care if you ever order from them again. I ordered the MotoBlue cog belt system for my Cobra and it took them 9 weeks to get it to me (despite the web site saying 10 days at most). Then they did not send all the correct parts, and when I called to complain, they acted like it was my fault for rushing the order (after waiting 9 weeks!). No one I talked to seemed interested in keeping me as a happy customer; they all acted like I was a bother to them (after spending nearly $2000 for parts). They screw up orders then act like it is your fault. They make no attempt to say sorry, or to compensate you for pissy service. They are very slow in returning calls or e-mails. They seem arrogant and their attitude suggests they dont need us customers. Oh well, lesson learned - never again.

I again implore of all my fellow Mustang owners (or owners of any car type for than matter) to not do business with RPM Outlet.

Welcome to the forums. You should have done a search for RPM outlet on this forum. About 95% of the feedback on them is bad to really bad. They have good prices but that's because they have ZERO customer support or service. Pay a little extra and use a Mustang Forums sponsor site to order from. They typically have great customer service and great prices.

You are right, I should have checked around first but their low prices sucked me in. I prefer to pay a little more and get better customer service. How can RPM survive when so many people know they stinck?

RPM is the Walmart of Automotive Excessories. They have great deals but like stated before the Customer Service is absolutely horrendous!!! I ordered a full exhaust from them for my old 97 GT and they sent me a 04 GT exhaust. I had clearly specified the year, make, and model too. So I learned to never order from them again and I advise every one else I talked to to do the same as well. Good Luck though and Welcome to the forums.
