I'm trying to upload a few photos in a gallery but I keep getting an error message that says the picture has too many KBs. The limit KBs per photo is 193 and the photos are all under 110 KBs but the message keeps coming up and saying the photos are about 100 KBs too big. Please help.

Here's the exact message I got from trying to upload one photo.

"This picture exceeds your total album file size quota by 106.0 KB."

sometimes the albums can act a little screwy... i don't remember if there was a specific reason why, though. iirc, sometimes there is an issue with the actual image 'size' (pixel size), so if that could be the case, just make sure the images are within a certain pixel size. hopefully someone else can chime in with a better answer for you

I'm having the same problem. I've deleted some pictures from my album and the quota number went down, but it would seem that by the time I deleted all my remaining pictures it would finally hit 0 KB.

in your case, it might be a post count issue... some things are restricted to people who are new, have a low post count, or post infrequently. usually, when a member reaches the 50 post mark, a lot of things open up; if possible, try boosting your post count and see if that helps

I am still having this issue after 50+ posts. There are some pictures I'd like to upload into my album. Can an administrator provide a solution to this issue?

the way the error reads its like you're limited to the "max" allowable KB for the album.. try making a new album and uploading the pics there...

or / and get a photo hosting account like photobucket
