maybe we should make a sticky for this purpose.
No idea why people make an account. then decide it needs to be deleted off the face of the world. Simply logging out and never visiting again does the same thing

Most likely they said some embarassing or incrimanating statements and want them to go away completely before they can come back to haunt them.

It would seem they got scammed for 250 bucks by a guy with 28 posts, ALL in the WTB section offering stuff to sale.
Back in 2009, and even asked how to delete back then, seems he came back just to do this.

Not to hijack but I want my account deleted. I'm moving on because this forum has really gone to hell for many different reasons and I just want my profile shut down,thanks

They don't delete accounts....just don't log back in instead.

Just dont login and erase any subscriptions. And disallow any emails.
