Default Google Chrome Issues

I use Google chrome as my browser and when I come to MF, it keeps wanting to download the forum pages instead of just allowing me to view them. The downloads never go through but it makes it extremely hard for me to browse. If I close the browser and re-open, it sometimes temporarily fixes the issue and allows me to view the forums, not all the time though. This is getting frustrating and wondering if anyone else is having problems. My husband uses google chrome also and he tells me he's fine so I'm stumped. I don't have any problems viewing other websites.

If you have the shareware download accelerator called Internet Download Manager installed on your machine, it can cause exactly this type of problem.

If it is on there, options to fix would be to:

1) uninstall Internet Download Manager

2) Go into settings for Internet Download Manager, and on the General tab, uncheck Google Chrome.

3) Update Internet Download Manager to the latest version (which supposedly corrects this bug)
