04 ford mustang gt bogging problem
help i have a 2004 ford mustang gt 40th anniversary edition V8 4.6L and im having bogging out problems. It starts bogging out after driving for a while it will start loosing power and if i step on gas its like it looses all power but when i shut it off and turn it right back on it runs fine for a little bit but starts doing it again i replaced the fuel filter but it doesnt seem to help i was told its getting hot but it doesnt show on dash. but it doesnt seem to do it at night only during day.

Don't rely on the temp gauge to tell you if it's hot.Mine stayed right where it normally should be,when I was extremely low on coolant, due to a cracked intake manifold. The fact that I had no heat, was the biggest indicator-no water getting to it.

Its got 50,000 miles and the thing is I got it at an auction and the intake manifold was not on it and they put a stock one on it but it has an upgrade dual exhaust and a cool air intake could it be that because there is alot of upgrades and they put a stock on back on it could it be effecting the way it runs

The whole bogging, then fine for a few seconds after restart makes me think a sensor. Check the codes to start. Then I would start with the MAF, make sure it's facing the correct way and is clean. From there, check the fuel pressure, both at idle and while running.
