if it weren't for that piston being hammered up and you had proof / reciepts showing what was done, then we might have a deal

The piston is what it is, i cant change that. However i can tell you it was like that and the machine shop didnt hesitate to put the block together.
I can see if The guy from corral that got the block built for me has paperwork, or possibly just a number for the shop that you could call to verfiy what ever you want.
I never asked for any paperwork, i know the guy i got it from is a stand up guy, ive done business with him a few times, and you could clearly see the lube from assembly. We could prob pull the pan off and you would still see it.

No machinest I know would ever reuse a piston that was hammered as such and still give me a gaurantee, chunks missing as such will affect balance and compression as little as it may seem , overall it's a gamble I'd rather not take, I appreciate your honesty though

Thats all i can be is honest, but it's all good. The guy i bought it from my actually want to buy it back. Im in no rush to sell it.

How much is another piston and were could I get it from? and would you consider shipping to Ohio??

Looks like a screw must have gotten in there and got smacked around. My riding mower piston looked like that after a screw fell out of the carb butterfly. Still runs, just ugly.
