built 07/03/1964, supposedly first Mustang sold in Osceola County, Florida.
Was a D code 289. Previous owner dropped in a 302, rear coil over shocks, trailer hitch, and side exhaust. Maybe he pulled a boat?
Returning to stock except for Grab a Track kit and front disc brakes. Have 4:10 posi 3rd member to install later once I can afford AOD transmission swap.
in progress. Planning on 17" Elanor wheels
Repainting back to original Guardsman Blue with black instead of white vinyl top this time. Considering fiberglass later GT hood.
Later model 5.0 block with xe274hr cam, AFR 185 heads, performer rpm, set up to look like original black/gold 289. Note car was rolled off trailer and pushed in garage, had sat under cover since 1982. Never tried to start...
