bought from original owner in 1982- some a$$hole punk kids threw a full beer bottle oncoming at 45 mph, busted windshield/bent a-pillar, chipped paint off roof/slats/wing...got so disgusted put in garage/tore apart and sold original 302-2v to commit to 429 conversion...then work got real busy/got divoriced/got married/had a son/had another son with major health issues/had another son/wife got cancer/restored a 65 galaxie for a friend/moved/had another son/wife had heart attack-bypass surgery at 35 yrs old/that brings me to the end of 2008 and the poor old mustang has been on the back burner for very close to 25 years now- and sitting that long in the garage means its getting ugly underneath- if I live long enough, the boys and I will do the rotisserie thing and get that 429 in there yet

my 429 came from my first car- a 69 gal my mom got when I was 8 yrs old, promptly totalled when I was 16- been in the family a long time
