Description:
Former California Highway Patrol Vehicle #E408395 (Mrs28HopUp named the car 'Bacon'!). Have a copy of the CHP assignment card matching my car's VIN to that unit number. A real Black and White pursuit Mustang. Stationed in Quincy, CA from April 1986 through October 1987. In that time it clocked over 83K miles, or an average of 130 miles per day. It is 1 of 155 SSP Mustangs bought by the CHP in 1985. Was repainted silver by the CHP prior to being sold at auction. Was subsequently repainted 'Toyota Gray'. Now it is being restored as an unmarked daily driver, while utilizing many original CHP parts.
