This here is Project 40. My goal with this project is to consistently get 40 mpg at highway speed (55 mph). By keeping up with maintenance, using quality lubricants and filters, and updating and upgrading the intake, exhaust, ignition, and other engine systems, I raise my fuel efficiency and sometimes my performance in the same shot. My best run in highway driving on 55-70 mph highways in one week was 37 mpg. I plan to get a steady 40 mpg even in bad weather, but lower gas prices have slowed the project.
