Default Ignition coil wiring...

Hey all. I have been scratching my head ever since I installed my Accel ignition coil. Ever since I installed it, my stock tach hasn't gone above 3,000 rpm. Does anyone have a pic of what the stock wiring should look like. Right now I have a tan and a red wire running into the coil, but there is a green wire lingering around and I think it has something to do with the tach. Thanks for any help. Photo attached shows green wire(almost looks like it is connected to something)just behind battery. Just hoping this wire has something to do with my failing tach...

Default RE: Ignition coil wiring...

The tan and red wire should be the only ones running to the coil.I have no idea what the green wire is.
