Color by WEASEL

Aint that it...a newbie full of questions! Anyway, I recently acquired a 1966 Mustang Coupe with a 289 C-4 Vin 6FC07383427, Data plate 65C M 35 14F 28 6 6. I have it decoded. The car is all original...Ok, original Ford Mustang parts, maybe not for that car. It has the floors gone and some other misc small spots or rust. Structurally intact and original vinyl on the interior with only a few rips in the pleats of the drivers seat. Now, the question. it is Wimbledon White with Red Bench Interior, like I said 289 Auto. How rare or desirable is that combination I wonder? I know only 4% had bench seat. Ford records are destroyed so I do not know how many had that color combination. The car did not run when I got it but it does now! I gave $1700 for it! I plan on keeping it all Ford although it may be from used Mustang parts, they will still be from a 66 coupe. I wonder what it might be worth when I get it into shape. My pics are too big for now to show what it is so far.

well, a bench itself is not rare, but deffinatly not common, it is rarer than a console...but it is not all that desireable...

i dont know about the color and engine specific numbers, but there were 21,397 coupes with bench seats made overall in 1966.
