Anyone have any luck with tires? I've read a little about Nitto 555 drag radials. Let me know, I have a 2002 281sc and need to get new tires. Thanks.

How long are the tires supposed to last? Do you know how the BF Goodrich drag radials are?

AMAZING. I had them on my Iroc-z and I was raping AWD's off the line @ the track. It was an auto, with only 3.23's!

They were really good in the rain. They were actually alittle harder to break loose than my old Firestone Firehawks, believe it or not.

...Tell you what, after i wore out the pzero's on my 01 S281, i was certain i would never buy them again, In the rain they were ok, but just ok in the dry as well. I went to bridgestone so2's (140 treadwear rating), and they were fabulous. They were way less noisy on the freeway, held well for scca club racing, and weren't too expensive. After putting 10k on them, i got a new set! The only thing bad about these tires is that they were marginal in the rain, but when you own a S281, you try to avoid driving in the rain anyway. (I would hope)

Dont get the drag radials. There a wate of money and there to soft for normal use they wear to quit. Get the regular NT 555. Amazing traction even in the rain. I had them on my 5.0. I have a 00 281 sc right now and plan on getting them when i need too.
