Default 408 stroker

I know that noone can determine the horsepower and torque numbers but I was wondering if some can give me an idea on what i should be around. I already have an idea but i need a few more opinions. Mods include: DSS super pro bullet 408 stroker, AFR 205cc heads, Anderson motorsports N-91 cam(forgot the specs sry but description of cam below), Trick flow 351w upper/lower intake manifold, 1in. intake spacer, anderson motorsports power pipe, accufab 75mm TB, C&L 80mm mass air meter, ACCEL 48lb/hr injectors, X2C motorsports 900h.p. fuel system, MAC 3in. cat-back, MAC 3in. Pro Chamber shortened O/R h-pipe, MAC 351w 1 3/4in. long tube headers. The motor is going to have around 30 degrees total timing. Just wondering what you guys think i should be putting out with it. (N-91 347-408 c.i.d. Best performer for 347 cu. in., 1.6 R.R. & 6600 rpm and 10.7 to 11.5 comp. Great with TFS or Edelbrock Victor Jr heads. Minimum 38lb injectors and 80mm mass air. Recommend 4.10 to 4.30 gears, poor drivability under 2300 rpm, lumpy idle, rpm range 2800-springs.
6800, needs 2700-3300 converter. Must use AFM valve
Works great on 6900 rpm 10.5 to 11.5 comp. 302-331 c.i.d. with 4.56 gears and 30lb injectors. Must use AFM valve springs.)

Well you should get different headers, those will be a little restrictive for that kind of power, also having an 75 mm throttle body is kind of defeating the purpose of having an 80mm mass air meter the air going in fast with no where to go. But anyway I'd say about 580hp atleast, make sure you've got a decent tranny to handle it. What Engine Managment software are you using?

Im thinking more around 500hp at the crank, and the tb and mass air meter are too small IMO, but they both are a good size in relation to each other. Wont make a huge difference anyhow - looks like a really good combo. congrats.

yeah, i agree. on an engine like that, get the biggest tb and maf you can. and i bet it will be way over 500 hp. stay away from the mac exhaust. just get on off road mid pipe, and magnaflow catback

thanks.....so what size TB and mass air meter would you reccomend?...Why stay away from mac, one of the only reasons i went for mac was that i didnt want to be stuckwith 2 1/2 inch exhaust. i wanted to go atleast 3 inch all the way back..??? Im prob. gonig to run the pms engine management system.

I dont have any issues with Mac - I know their coatings suck but I'm happy with the fit and performance I got from my Mac Longtubes. I suppose the throttle body would do as is - you could go larger but its gonna be tough finding a larger tb than 75mm in the mainstream. As far as the mass air meter goes - that should definately be larger - at least 85mm probably 90mm even if you could find one. A 90mm mass air meter and 80mm throttle body would be my choice. Really though - you've still got a good combo either way - but you've gotta consider how much air that things gonna move - man thats an awsome setup

Yea im hoping its going to be a sick setup. I ordered some of the larger parts today, like the long block itself, and the intake manifold. I cant wait to finish this and put it in my stang. I was first planing on going with an 87mm mass air meter and an 85 or 90mm TB. But any throttle body past 75mm is considered a race TB. I dont know whats the difference bewteen considering the TB race or not but I dont want to go out and get this throttle body and then it not work on my car. Ne suggestions on mass air, TB combos?

ive been looking around for between 80 and 90mm Tb....whats the difference between a regular 75mm throttle body and an 85mm RACE TB, besides the obvious fact of size? can you run a race TB in a street car but the car wont be driven as a daily driver...

its labeled race so little kids dont run out and by them for their stock 5.0s...and i would stay away from mac, period. their modular headers are known to destroy engines, just ask nos/man about his. and why get a prochamber? the chamber is only going to be a restriction, get an off road mid pipe. and also, their mufflers are chambered, you want straight through performance.
