Default Removing dents?

In my 89' Lx there are quite a few dents on the doors and some parts of the body, should I get bondo or try a dent remover kit? what do you recomend for a dent remover.Do they even work, some of the dents are big and some are small (pennie sized to quater sized dents).

Removing dents is best left to a professional who knows what he's doing. Metal has a memory and once it is deformed, it is not that easy to get to to go back to where it was before the dent happened. The metal stretches and you have to know how to shrink it back to really make a good repair job.

bondo sucks, but i dont know of any good dent removers. not that they are all bad, just i havent looked into it. what we do in auto class is just knock out the ent as much as possible with a slide hammer and fill the rest that doesnt come all the way out with bondo.

I don't understand why everyone is so anti-bondo.

If done properly, even the best trained eyes can't find bondo on a car.

some dents can be pulled with a suction cup..I use fiberglass but most just take spot puddy..2-3 coats and some primer/sealer...

You're right, but alot of inexperienced body men use it as a crutch when they can't reform the metal with body hammers and dollies. Good ones will reform the metal to as close as possible and use it as a skim coat to correct imperfections. They will only use ounces of bondo as opposed to pounds.

I think most people know that, it just ticks me off when people slam using filler on a car.
Hell, I've seen filler riddled cars come out with less 'orange peel' effects after a paint job than cars fresh from the factory.
I've never had a bad experience with filler. It's one of the first things they teach in any sort of auto body school are the limits of using filler.
