Im looking at some 225/60/16's for my 98 gt, i have on there 225/55/16's, what does the 60 and 55 mean? and will it fit in my wheel wells? because my local junk yard has a set of 4 tires, bran new off of a wrecked car, and they're selling em for 20 bucks, im not sure what they are but the tread is excellent on it. im hoping to get em tonight or tomorrow morn, any opinions would help thanx

i know that it will do that, but it aint gonna matter on too much, they'll just b for winter purposes and for burning em off , i just want to know if they will fit on the stock rims and fit in the fenders?, i dont want em rubbing when i hit bumps ya know?
ok nomo, what's up with the name, did you use to have a cobra or something? i thoguht i had seen a red one at one point as your pic, but im just curious
i believe the 225 would be the width of the tire and the 55 would be the percentage of the width for the side wall. not sure tho

i got the tires put on today, and to tell you the truth, they seem to fill up the wheel wells and gave it a little better stance imo, and look good, lol, and i can seem to drift a heck of a lot better with these ones, dump i down a gear around that corner and let the ass end slide away and keep her out the whole way down the next 3 corners, YAY!, damn, tracks are fun, not having to worry about hitting some big tree
