im looking for a place online that sells crate engines for real low price. All im looking for is a 306 crate engine with performance heads, cam, rods, crank etc... im looking for something like under 3 grand. Thanks

thanks guys, i am reluctant to buy an engine from summit because they are expensive. I was thinking of like a wholesale underground garage that is still reliable. Even if its in your area or something.. oh well thanks anyway

just remember that you get what you pay for and there are a lot of counterfeit parts made overseas out there that some of these low priced shops are using so I wouldn't count on one of them for a reliable engine if I were you. Check around with some of the local guys or racers in your area for their recommendations on a good local shop or engine builder.

i think summit racing has the gt40 long block engine for like 3700 this is prally your best bet. PART #FMS-M6007-XE3 very nice deal @ 3200 plus shipping.
