I installed new spark plugs today but before that my bro decided to be smart and take the cables off all at the same time and fd everything up.I got no idea how they go back whatsoever. I tried to install the BOSCH ones I bought but it didnt work and when I started up my car it was backfiring and it showed up with check engine light. Does anyone have the diagram of how the cables go back in place please. I really need my car tomorrow and now i tried to figure out how to put them back the original way but its not even starting up now. Anyone with diagram or info plz???



So I found this pic online and the black lines represent the cables.it backfires at me when I start it up and my oil pressure switch is dead because I checked it through a computer code.

Is it still backfiring after you hooked up the cables like the diagram??? Did your bro rip them off or pull them off with some restraint??? May have damaged the ignition mod if he pulled them hard... You oil pump isn't going to run right till the engine smooths out, thats probably why your getting the oil pump code...

he told me he was pulling for the cables and not for the rubber things on the bottom of cables. That might of caused damaged to the cables.U think I should just go ahead and buy some new cables and see if it works out??

from the other end also.

u mean from the intake side as well??

yeah he removed everything before i got a chance to talk to him,it was like a split minute .Would that be a problem to realign?

Step one is to smack around the bro a little. Second would be to inspect for damage. The coil packs for damage. Third would be to smack around the bro a little. Fourth would be to install new wires with money gained from smacking around the bro a little. Fifth would be to kick the crap out of the bro.

I agree with the above post with the exception of not smacking the bro around a little more...

He could have messed up the wire by yanking on them (lets hope)... Try a new set if you can...

If you have coil over ignition than I would replace all of them just to be safe and then I would check your spark plug size. YOU SHOULDNT HAVE USED BOSCH. AUTOLITES OR MOTORCRAFT FTW.

I fixed it,I`m so happy my car is runin right now.I found the diagram on how to get the cables back in place.I fd up a bit because i didnt push the igniton cable all over the spark plug and it popd back out when I started ,it was runin on 5 cyl lol. As far as my bro goes I told him to stay the hell away from the car ,he can just hand the tools[8D]
