www.summitracing.com has an 8 point roll cage for you car for $159.88 . You need to weld it together. It is part # CEE-3039 .

A friend of mine that races a prostock car and owns a sheetmetal fabrication shop, told me it's cheaper to buy a kit like that then it is to buy the metal and make it yourself.

agree with ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. check around at some other sites too, like competetion engineering or others too for the right kit and price. if you plan on passing tech at the strip, make sure the tubing is at least .134" wall thickness too.

Are slicks really that much better than heated Nittos or BFG's?

Oh yes. BFG's are far far far better than Nitto's. Slicks are more forgiving than a street legal drag radial...

But you run a much better chance of breaking a U joint or snapping an axle with slicks. Thats not a chance I wanna take until I have built the rear.
