This is my first shot at restoration. I bought a 1980 Mustang V8 2 brrl. as a project to do with my 16 year old. I am somewhat mechanically inclined and dont expect miracles on my first try. It needs the headlight assembly replaced and I am told that some years are interchangeable, I have also been told that the assembly itself can't be replaced but the whole bumper and front facia must be replaced. It also needs the rear tail lights replaced. Are they interchangeable?
This was a Florida car so the heater hoses were removed. The heater core is still there but I dont knowwhere to connect other end (top of manifold? which is in and which is out?).
Any advice on the best place to purchase parts used vs. new. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
