I say 462wrhp give or take 5%, I want to know about your crank ive heard alot af bad stuff about te hawks racing crank and thats what i got also. the machine shop that did my work actully committed on what a nice crank it was and were did i get it and how much was it, whe i told them it was a only like 400 bucks thay said they have seen a lot of high dollar stuff that was not as hard/strong as this 400 crank was. but even afte that i still wonder if hawks is good, i have not fired my engine so i dont know how it performs yet.

The Hawks racing crank is made in China like several other ones. From what I can tell, Hawks Racing, SCAT, and several others are the same crank with different names. The machining was not perfect, it had to be polished to remove some taper in the bearings but other than that seemed to be okay

Wow, someone voted less than 250, I sure hope they are way wrong.
Progress pic. I am only getting 1 day a week to work on it so it is going slower than hope. I hope to have it up within 2 weeks.

daaaaamn. theres nothing like the feeling of knowing your car is almost done. is everything goin smoothly? are you starting to get impatient?
one lesson i learned from pulling my motor apart last year was not to ruch and take my time. thats exactly what im doin this year. we'll see if it pays off. hope everything goes good for you.
last year i had finished putting my motor together but i couldnt start it yet. since i took out my ac i needed a shorter belt. went to advanced auto parts to see if they had a belt and they said no but they can get me one for the next morning. it was 8 pm at the time. i couldnt wait till the next moring to get the belt and i couldnt even sleep. of course when i got the belt and put it on, i wished i had gone slower with everything, went to start the car and the car wouldnt start[:@]

435 hp is my vote
Did they use heavy metal in the crank, I got a cheap chinaCO crank originally for my 398 and the counter weights hit the pistion skirts. I took it back and got a Scat and have no problems. good luck
