I just purchased a '03 V-6. This is my first Mustang. I was wondering if people used aftermarket accessories such as air-filters, intakes to improve the gas mileage/power on a mustang.</P>

They sure do there is all kinds of aftermarket mods you can do . Most are geared towards the V-8 mustangs but there are v-6 mods out there look at mustang parts places i am sure you will find something that appeals to you.

The most popular v6 mods I can think of are gears, catback exhaust, and cai kit. Something like that can make your v6 quite respectable.
