ok about a week or so ago my air bag light began flashing and staying lit up while i am driving and also my horn stopped working too. any tips is it a plug on the column that lets all of that work?? my cruise still works. so ya any and all help is appreciated.

sounds like the clock spring in the steering wheel.

ok but what is that? can i fix it in my drive way with basic tools are do i have to go to the bastard dealership? or is there a plug that i may have kicked loose?

not that hard to do but if you've never done one I would take it in.... you will need to clear the light.....they will do that on repair.....and as far as I know dealer is the only place to get part......but I could be wrong

It could be toe clock spring, or maybe it's a connector near the base of the steering shaft (near the pedals) that got worked loose. Get your head under there with a flashlight & check everthing out

if your airbag light is flashing it is giving you a code telling you what is wrong. count the flashes and then repost. for example 5 flashes, pause, 1 flash ,pause, is a code 51. then look up the code and fix the problem.

whats 4 flashes then a pause then 4 more?

well if its for your 91 its just a code four, since in 91 they seem to only go from 2 - 10.
here is the breakdown:

ok now all of the sudden yesterday my horn started working again just out of the blue so does that change it being the clock spring or what personally i dont like airbags.....bad experiences...... so if it is out of service now that i have my horn back i dont care but i woulod still like to know. thanks for any and all input!
