I talked to a guy at chevy the other day.

He said their will be three models. Base (v6), SS(ls2), and something else, S-something (???).

With the base being high 20s (like 28k), and the high-end (not SS), will be high 40s.

I would like to see 360 out of the new stangs, that would be ideal to me.

I think the 09 Mustang will still have 300hp.

You know I think Ford has just as much skill under their belt to make a monster-mega HP brute engine & stick it into a powerful chassis as much as any other manufacturer..

...but I think their consumer analysts come back & tell the guys in charge of making decisions that, there really isn't much of a market for cars that have 3 zilllion horsepower. So they drop the power to lower levels & sell more Stangs than Camaros & Firebirds combined,, go figure
