just curious if they are a common mod and worth the time to save up for...they put down some nice numbers on a stock motor...

I know the forums have alot of members with them. They seem to be getting more popular as time goes on because the technology is improving and so is the selection of units available in the aftermarket.

this is pretty bad ***..I thought about boostinga few other cars as well but for some reason never thought of the GT until now.Kinda want to stay NA and build it upbut can't help but consider forced induction in the future...[:-]

if your going to run the stock bottom end the SC will produce more then enough power, no need to spend the extra money on the turbo a nice Centri SC kit will give you the torque and HP that u need. if you want u can just look at my dyno vid for proof, i know its not a stock motor but its only @ 10psi of boost which is less then 1/2 of what the SC is capable of putting out. the only problem is the 5.0 block seems to want to start cracking at 500-550 RWHP and i went a little over that[&:] so just crossing my fingers that i have enough money for a block before it cracks

so if the paxton SC kit made 470whp on 8psi. on a STOCK GT,would it be safe to assume that one with a full exaust system make about 500 whp?
