lol, if your going to go with the stickers, go to a flea market... there are usually lots of chinese and mexicans that sell them... (not meaning to be offensive) but you wont pay 600...
depending on how you want them, they dont look bad... ive NEVER see wax lines, so i dont really know what hes talking about...
the seller will tell you how to put them on, the easiest way to do it is to clean the car really well, put down a layer of windex, and put the stickers ontop of it, and then brush the windex out from under the sticker... it will keep bubbles from forming...

and about the bubble thing. to brush out sticker start at the top and guide the sticker down (if that makes any sense) using a squeegie (anything flat, such as a credit card will work). any bubbles that remain just need to be poked a few times with a razor blade so that air can escape from the tiny holes. when it hits the sun it will contract and you wont ever know you poked a hole in your stripes
thats if your doing it yourself. again, i would strongly suggest that you get a shadetree guy to do it for you, he wont charge much and it will usually be perfect

if he said that he would paint them for you... he would probably make the stencil himself...
ive never actually seen a car "stencil" used for body paint... body shops use painters tape to lay out all pinstripes and things of that nature...
if he isn't a good enough body man to lay out the stripes himself with tape, i wouldn't be trusting him to paint my car... my own opinion
