do the lens come apart from the frame of the gt cheesegrater (92 gt) tail light assembly. i want to paint the plastic houseing but also want to clean or replace the lense inside the tail light. i have had it apart before to paint but could not c any way of seperating the two pieces. i also have never seen new cheesegrater lights for sale. do they make aftermarket gt lights. bought lx lights but just didnt like them and want the car to be as orignal as posible.
