There is one flat connector to the clock spring. The triple round connector is the horn. So, I cannot tell you how to make the air bag light to go out, but I took my lamp out of the instrument panel. WTF is a single airbag going to do, If it goes off. I just live with the fact that I don't need an air bag. If your clock spring/airbag system is not connected on the single flat connector, the dash board will let you know with a horrible sound. Trust me, I just had my entire dash off this weekend to replace a neutral switch and had all these problems. As far as the clock spring, read it, mount it and plug the one connector in. Then forget about it. Unless the flashing light makes your life hell.

Then remove it!

Cheers

Default Ford Mustang Air Bag Clock Springs

I find that Prestige Mustang in Monroe, GA has them. But you have to be careful. I have a 1992 Mustang GT with a clock spring Ford # Fzzz14A664B. Prestige Mustang gave up looking for it after about 6 months of trying. What it likely means is my car was built at the end of 1991 and so I have a 1991 clockspring or at the end of 1992 and I have a 1993 clockspring. In any event, I've been unable to find the correct clockspring for my GT. The differences between the clocksprings are the wiring harnesses.

So you really need the Ford Part No. off of the Clockspring in your steering column or you might have a disappointing adventure of sending parts back and forth to a supplier who thought they could help you.
