TR 3550 rebuild kit/what kind clutch and flywheel?
I have a 96 cobra with a tr3550 it has msk-11734 stamped on the cast and on the id tag it shows 2600682.... i purchaced the car with the tranny already in it... and it didnt have any tranny fluid in it and he was driving it around like that..
it does shift but it grinds going into 2nd every time and the shifting doent seem very stiff what would be the best rebuilt kit for the tranny or where would be a good place to look... i also read about a certain kit that helps with high rev shifting especially with those trannys.....
any info would be great thanks hope toget it done right and back on the road by the time its nice out
also what kind of clutch/ flywheel would you guys recommend the motor is a bit above stock but its maybe got another 30 horse nothing crazy and it does have a bulletproof bellhousing i would like to get a lightweight flywheel and something that grips good but i dont want to spend all my money just on that, any suggestions?
