What clutch with a TKO 600 tranny?
Here is what I've got:
2,200 lb car
3:55 rear end
nice wide tires in 17"
TKO 600 tranny
I've got a mild 351w for now and will upgrade to a 500 hp/tq 351w shortly.
What clutch would mate up to it well???????
Thanks

RE: What clutch with a TKO 600 tranny?
I loved the Ram 11" 1999 Cobra R clutch in my car but I hear Center Force is one of the best.
See with my Ram setup it was pretty easy to push the clutch down but bit HARD when you let off. But my next clutch is going to be a centerforce because I want to see how I like those.
I would not suggest going with anything from Spec, I got a spec Stage III and it was hard as hell to push and it was sent to me with a warped pressure plate and they wouldnt refund my money and told me that they dont make defective clutches and I never saw my $425 again.

Thanks Eric,
I think it was down to either webber or spec for me. I think with your post that the spec is out. The internet is a wonderful thing as word spreads so quickly.
Thanks for the informative reply.

If you search around this board you'll find that Centerforce has a bad rep here.
Bought a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch kit a while back
1.5 months later, Up In Smoke.
Going with RAM this time around, so let's see how it fares.

Ya, spec didnt handle me when their product went bad and I dont really care to ever say a good thing about them again either.
Ram was the best clutch I ever had, but now hearing that there is some problems with centerforce I think that I will stick with ram. See at least at Ram I talked to Mike (think thats his name) which is the owner and he helped me personalize my mustangs performance needs. Good people for sure.
