Default fuel leak!!!! HELP

I just bought a 99 gt vert last week. I waxed it today and left it in the garage. this is the first time its been in the garage, anyways we took my wifes car out for the day and when we got home the garage smelled like gas. I looked underneith and it leaking at a rubber gasket where the filler neck meets the tank. anyone else have this problem? Its late so I didnt get a good look at it but is their a drain plug so I can get some fuel out (full tank) so I can remove the filler neck and replace the gasket

Default RE: fuel leak!!!! HELP

Yes I had this same leak but it was fixed under warranty so I didn't have to fool with it.
There's no way to get the fuel out other than disconnecting the fuel line at the injector rail and letting the fuel pump force it out and collecting the gas ina can.(that I know of anyway)
Unless the grommet is completly gone I would just drive the car until you get some of the fuel out and do the job then.Gasoline only weighs 6.2 lbs per gallon so it really ain't that heavy.A full tank would weigh around ninety pounds with the weight of the tank.A floor jack with a two foot square board between the jack and the tank would allow you to handle the tank and fuel easily.
