Default throttle body cleaning

hey guys was just wondering if yall could give me a quick review on cleaning the throttle body, also would i need to replace the gasket between it and the intake manilfold

I cleaned mine with some throttle body cleaner without taking the throttle body off. I suppose you can do a more thorough job it you take it off, but I got good results from spraying the throttle body and very soft (micorfiber) cloth with the cleaner, holding the throttles open and using a rubber (stiff) hose wraped with the microfiber cloth and cleaning the inside that way. It made a pretty good difference. If you take the throttle body off I would bet you would need to replace the gasket that I'm sure is there...maybe not.
