Default Car insurance questions

What all do I need to disclose to my insurance company with mods and stuff?

If I put on a dual exhaust do I need to tell them? Will my insurance go up from this?

How about little things (Spoilers, etc.)?

I'm a bit confused on what I have to tell them about, and what raises insurance rates.

No that stuff is fine. I asked my dad about this and he said like unless you did major engine mods or like went forced induction then you need to tell them. I'm not 100% on this though.

The best thing to do is talk to your insurance company because everyones different. The company I work for insures up to $1,000 for aftermarket and anything after that needs to be added to the policy. Usually it's inexpensive to add, say, $5k more in coverage for stuff like that.

typically they will have clauses in the coverage contracts. typically motorcycles are <$5k automatically, >$5k has to be itemized.

Auto policies ive seen them as $1k & $5k with some of it on the amount of coverage you are already purchasing
