Because i'm 17 and I am very low on funds. Besides, me being a minor, my dad probably wouldn't want me putting on a bunch of incredible-hulk engine mods on the car he bought me. Suprised he bought me a mustang in the first place, let alone a GT. I am very grateful though. I think i'm going to go with the roush performance kit and hybrid racing stripes. Thanks for the opinions.
Given your above post, put some careful thought into this. I won't go so far as to say that body kits are 'unethical', but I will caution you that if you do choose to do any bodywork that you pick something that will "age" well. Not things that will "date" your car to a particular year or era. Or make you want to change it again this time next year.
About things that "date" your mod? Ask your dad or grand-dad about shag carpets and side panel murals on full-size vans that was the rage during the 70's.
Yeah, I know it's tough to predict what will or won't stand the test of time, but my money goes on the more subdued choices and subtle differences rather than the stuff that screams to the whole world "I AM DIFFERENT".
So you're trying to tell me that the Roush style may not be that stylish later on, in a long term situation. I hear you. What would be the subdued choices and subtle differences that you would recommend me do to the stang? I was looking at a roush charger kit.
I wasn't insinuating that you could afford it all, what I was saying is why not do a little of both here and there. It's more fun in my opinion that doing a whole lot at once and especially with performance mods, lets you get comfortable with your new power level gradually as opposed to one huge jump at one time.

In detail, it's your judgement that matters, not mine. I can only make suggestions for making general evaluations.
Appearance mod-wise, I'd look for mods that complement the car's lines as they are. Not stuff whose shape fights the OE lines, or looks like it sprouted kind of haphazardly/without apparent purpose. Maybe a sanity check question could be "would I see <whatever> on a heavily-modified import show car?".
Well, to each his own, but unless it is functional, i'd leave well enough alone.
Some of those kits look ok, some even look good, ... but on someone else's car, know what I mean?
I can only afford one car. I enjoy driving it on the streets, but I really have fun on road courses and at the drag strip. So my money goes to make it more functional. A body kit adds weight, so it would slow the car down. A friend gave me a lift off 2" cowl hood that was a feather weight so I put it on. i was happy with the factory look, but wanted to lighten the front end.
It's your car, and it's your $$$$$$. If you like it, and feel good driving it - DO IT.
If you feel self a little funny, maybe you should hold on to the $$$ and think a little longer. Good luck. Merry Christmas.
