could also be a light used to signal when his NOS system was armed and ready for use. Any buttons that seem out of place or don't do what they advertise?

Everything seems fine, not sure, im gonna try to pull it out and see if theres any wires leading to any certain spot.

ya i have to agree with everyone here, that definatly looks like an alarm light. never seen anything else that looks like that [>:]

I had an aftermarket alarm in my 1991 when I bought it, same exact light. It's an alarm system light.

light is more than likely an aftermarket alarm warning lite. Looks just like the Audoivox one I had in my 70 Charger 440 magnum. I tore the damn thing out. It kept setting itself. And it wasn't suposed to be able to! [sm=headbang.gif]

look under the dash by your feet and see if there is a little toggle switch anywere if there is turn the key forward and flip the switch and i bet the light turns on.I know thats an alarm light

Ok so all of you were right. it was an alarm light. I finally popped it out and there was no LED but I know thats where it went. then after digging through the engine I found the speaker mounted in there. there was a black and red wire leading through the firewall into my car the under the steering wheel, then I got under there and theres so many wires and so little space I couldnt figure out where the alarm wires led to and were connected to. Id like to find out.

Yea I was lookin all around. where I could see anyway, I couldnt see where the red and black wire led exactly too, only to see that they were bundled in with the other wires by the pedels.

Ok I managed to find the alarm box way up under the steering column, its a sidewinder 6000, there was a plug with like 15 wires going into it, but it was unplugged from the box, so I plugged it in and the alarm started wailing so I unplugged it, there was no remote with it when I bought it so im assuming the person that sold it to the dealership just lost it or something. The alarm works but I think its useless if i dont have the remote. the only thing I have is the keyless entry remote.
