4.10 gears
Would this be a good upgrade for my pretty much stock mustang besides a exhaust. I have a 06 mustang gt automatic. would getting new gears show a huge difference and how much? also if i were to i no the gears dont run THAT high probley round 180. but how much does the maintnence cost ???

Thats a good price. The only shop around here I would trust to touch my car wants $550 but that includes the gears and a seal kit and synthetic fluid.

thanks for the responses i think thats the next thing im going to be doing. Two questions. 1.Does that work good with another mod or something you no like if i got that should i get it tuned or something.2. What kind of EXTRA performance am i looking at here.

Consensus always seemed to be to get 3.73's if you had the automatic and 4.10's with the manual.
Automatics came with 3.31's, have a torque converter and automatic downshifting that helps keep you out of the really low rpms, and have shorter 2nd and 3rd gears than the TR3650 does. So there's less need to go as deep with the axle for the automatic.
