Default Triptunes / Mobile-ease - 2009 Mustang GT

Hey All...Can someone explain this feature? How does it work? Should my car come with a cable for the iPod?

And I got that the Mobile-ease is bluetooth, but how does that work?

Appreciate all the help , hope this is the right place to post this.

Try your owners manual. They kind of skim over stuff but its a starting place. I thought trip tunes was for 05 - 06 only. Its always confused me. I have an 07 and I want to get an iPod for it. I have the plug for it in the console but I hear I won't be able to control the iPod with the radio. No one has really given me specific info about this.

Trust me...I always do, except - I don't have the car yet LOL. Just trying to figure out info about these options, also curious if iTouch will work with triptunes....

I was going to say ask the dealer but they know less than the customers sometimes.

LOL - Well I found the pdf for the 2008 Mustang owners manual, read through a lot of it, but didn't find anything within the entertainment section besides the radio.

Default Alternative to TripTunes

Everything I read about TripTunes also said 05-06. I have an 08 Convertible GT and I just got a product that provides the same thing.

It's called the iPod Direct Connect by BrandMotion - brandmotion.com

It also docks your iPod, iPhone, or iTouch in the glove box and everything is controled by the factory radio - I have a Shaker 500.

I'm actually getting this installed tomorrow along with the in-factory Sirius Satellite kit.

I just recently installed a Mobile Ease and it works very nicely, just don't expect much in the way of talkability when the top is down.

I hope this info helps.

Well first off, I have a hardtop, and mobile easy works outstanding.

Second off, I have TRIP TUNES. Not some other program, I actually have Trip Tunes and it works great. I can control the iTouch through my head unit, if I want to select by artist, by recently purchased, by song title etc....and it charges it. This is also in my middle console not my glove.. Let me tell you I LOVE MY CAR
