Default Transmission Grinding-Stock Everything

I have recently purchased an 89' GT and have replaced the Clutch, Cable, Clutch Quadrant, all back to the original stock self adjusting items and I'm still getting grinding and having a hard time getting the car to go into reverse, I bought a Steeda firewall adjuster just for ****s and giggles but it seemed to only temporarily fix the situation and now I'm right back to square 1. Any suggestions would be nice, short of buying a new T5 tranny!!
