woops...took off badge, now theres holes
Well i wanted to take off the two rear badges (ford and GT) on my 99 GT to give it a cleaner look. THe gt came off fine, but when the Ford one was half off i realized it had prongs. WTF is the point of putting prongs there. What should i do to fix the holes? I assume, worst case scenario i can just buy another badge and put it on, but it looks so much better without any badges. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

yeah i guess thats what ill have to do. I wasnt trying to rice is out...it honestly looks good IMO without the badges.
When i did a search in goodle, some acura forum (....yeah i know) said if i didnt want to use bonda, i could use silicon or latex caulk. Has anybody every tried this?
What do they put those holes there anyway????

Bondo or "Black Magic"... but then you have to paint-to-match.
I'm put them or another badge back on.
They put the holes there because there are some ford factory workers might put it on sidewase or upside down... crooked at best. The holes ensure the badge goes in the righ place and is not crooked.

That's the best butcher I've seen for the word sideways. Anywase, woops, anyways!
You can use some silicone to fill the holes, but it'll still look odd. You could just have them filled at a decent body shop for a couple bills...
