Default Powerglide 2nd gear problem

None of the shops around me seem to understand the problem, and they want enough money to fix it as it does to buy a whole new transmission. Hopefully someone will know
I have a 1969 Mach 1 with a Powerglide transmission. It has a Windsor with a stroker kit in it with 427ci. Anything else that is important to answering the question, just ask.
My problem started pretty much out of the blue. I was driving around a corner, keeping the throttle down enough to maintain speed, and it felt like the car jittered a bit. I coasted for a bit, then gave it some gas and it did it again really bad. It almost feels as if the clutch plate were grabbing and releasing really quick, kind of like it slips and grips. We put some trans fluid in it and took it back out to test the problem. It used to shift extremely hard, almost instantly. After adding the fluid (could just be a coincidence) it shifted extremely smooth. It still has the exact same jitter problem in second gear. First gear still works and has never had an issue.
In first gear, everything is normal, accelerate, coast, everything. In second gear, it's fine if you are accelerating, but once the throttle is let up to coast, when you try to put the throttle down again, it starts acting up again. If it is downshifted to first, it is fine again.
I bought it a year ago and it started acting up at the end of driving season, now it's warm again and I would like to get some ideas of how to go about fixing it. If you need anymore information, I will supply it.
Thanks for any help
