Drag springs too high in rear!

Drag springs too high in rear!
Has anyone run into this problem?
I just replace the upper and lower control arms as well as the springs. I also replaced
the rubber isolators for polyurethane.
Now the rear of my car sits like it is a 4X4.
The springs are the same height as the stock ones so i am thinking that i just need to cut a coil off with my cut off wheel.
Maybe it's everything combined?

RE: Drag springs too high in rear!
the car will settle probably another 1/4 to 1/2 an inch over the next couple weeks, if that not enough for you then by all means do some cutting. I wouldnt cut more than a half a coil at a time though to be safe, as you can't put it back one once you cut it. Also remember the spring will act stiffer the shorter you cut it.

I know with the Eibach springs you actually have to set them a certian way. The coil end has to face inside the vehicle I believe. Not sure if yours is like that or if it would make a difference.

I'm not sure. I did however set the starting coil facing the rear of the car. I have adjustable shocks and they are set pretty hard at the moment. The wheel lip sits a good 3-4 inches above the rear tire. I will set the shocks to a softer setting and drive it around a bit before
rushing into the cutting.
