4 yr 100k warranty from dealer
Hey hows it going.. Well my 08, purchased new August 2008, has a 100k 4yr warranty on it.
When I bought the car, I wanted the warranty because i was working on the road and my last car was getting 25,000 miles a year easy. In Oct of 08 I got a new job that's 4 miles from my apartment and as August comes back around, i'm nowhere NEAR 25k miles the first year.
Is it possible to return the warranty? I've seen a post about this a LONG time ago but i couldn't find it.
Second question. If it's returnable, where does the money go? Originally the car was financed through ford. Last month I paid off the ford credit loan with a re-fi through a credit union.
Does the money for the warranty go back to the lien holder on the car? (loan holder - credit union) or do they send it to me?
Just curious, any info appreciated
