I've seen this mentioned many times before, but no ones really gone in depth... Is it possible to install an 8.8 rear end (including 3.73's and t-lok) on the 7.5 rear end (V6), and if so, what are the advantages?

I couldnt see any issues, should bolt right in as long as its the same model (fox/fox, SN95/SN95, exc). May run into a issue with the driveshaft bolt pattern but thats just swapping the rear flange.

It's a bolt up part that swaps right in. I run a pretty strong 7.5 in my Sixer still, but swapping to the 8.8 is a very common thing once you take steps to make power.
