First and foremost, WRITE DOWN THE BELT LAYOUT. When you take the old one off, you'll need to get it back on and in the same order or else there will be problems.

To take the belt off, take a socket wrench (I can't remember if it's 1/2" or 3/8"), and if there's a socket on the end take it off. Put the square end of the wrench into the notch on the tensioner (it's a pulley on the end of a swinging arm), and then turn the wench until the tensioner relieves itself and the belt just falls off.

Take the wrench off the tensioner.

Re-route the belt around the pulleys, skipping the tensioner. Once it's routed, put your wrench back on the tensioner, rotate it again, slide the belt over the tensioner, and then release the tensioner from the socket wrench.

The whole thing should take less than 15 minutes.

Good luck!
