Default Brake pad question

Hey guys,

My brake pads dust horriblely on my rims, can I switch to ceramic pads? I called the Ford house in my town and the woman said that it was a bad idea. But, she was a woman, so of course I'm getting another opinion. hahaha.

Thanks
Garrett

Smart man. Get the ceramics. Some people do complain about it being softer than the semi-mets, but you will get less brake dust. It really isn't that big of a difference, you will feel it, but it doesn't really hurt your stopping distance or anything. I think they do a better job actually.

Thanks guys, when it's time for me to do a brake job, I will be getting ceramic pads. I'm obsessed with having a clean car, so the ceramics will help my rims look better between washings.

Dust ftl.
