Default shocks & struts

I own a 94GT convertible with 80,000 miles. I am looking to upgrade the suspension to replace oem to improve ride & handling. This is not a racer just highway cruising with the ocasional hard cornering etc. I have considered Bilstein & Koni but am not familiar enough to know which to use. Should I do shocks & struts? Do springs help handling or do they just change the ride height? Any thoughts would be greatly apreciated.

Default RE: shocks & struts

Get Tokico illumina shocks and struts... theyre just as good as konis but cost way less, and theyre 5 way adjustable. Eibach makes a good spring kit for the street, and yes the springs do help A LOT. The kit youd want is the pro-kit, anything stiffer than that youll be hatin it. That kit lowers the car about 1.5" so you might also need to get caster/camber plates so you can align it.
