Hello Everyone;

I am looking for brakes for my car now so I can stop a whole lot better when this engine is done

*** These brake suggestions must work with 17" Bullitt Rims***

Right now I have a completly stock brake setup on a 94' GT rear end. I am not sure on the size of the rotors and the type of calliper it is. I would like to know what the largest Rotor is that I can upgrade to and what would be and the best calliper.

Now for the font, I have no Rotor or calliper on the front right now, just the lugs and the rest of the suspension. I know that Mach 1 Rotors are 13" and the callipers are 2 piston I believe which are the same as the Bullitt mustang. I want to know what is the largest rotor I can upgrade to with the best calliper.

I was surfing ebay and I found Brembo Rotors (Cross drilled grooved Zinc rotors) and Mach 1/Bullitt callipers for about $400 bux for the front, I was wondering if thats a good deal or if I should hold out for an upgrade. Another thing I found was the same Brembo rotors but for a set of 4. The front two were 13" and the rear were 10.5" and that was for $145 I believe. Are they worth it at that price?

The 2000 Cobra R set up is excellent from what I've heard (brembos with 4 piston calipers)
Wilwood makes some great 6 caliper mustang brakes. I've also heard good things about ssbrakes.
EBC makes some great brake pads. I have "Red Stuff" pads on cobra brakes and it works great.
